His Freedom Forth

Life. Freedom.
You speak over me.
The darkness rears its head
With threats of death, drought, dreamy droppings of this shit.

The shit. The stink, the filth is on me.
I carry it with me.
Death pours it over me.
The drudgery sticks it to me.

Lies. Slavery.
It seems to be only gift for me.
How long?
How long will I believe this mess?

This isn’t for me the best.
In the wrong house I’ve been a guest.
For me there is more
Not less.

Life. Freedom.
He speaks this grace.
Look up from this place
After the many things you chase.

Champion your heart, sister.
Speak sweetly to your soul, brother.
His grace is sufficient.
His strength is enough.

The battle cry is loud within you.
Let Him trumpet His freedom forth.
